| Editing drug list | ||

Doser searches for the drug list in your memo pad, therefore you should create a category on your memo pad and name it "DRUGS". For every drug input, you must create a new memo in the "DRUGS" category by pressing the "NEW" button.
These illustrations describe how to enter a new drug and create a drug list. |

The drug list created must
resemble this template. The first memo should always
read: [doser]drugs:, it has to be written the exact same way,
without spaces nor capital letters. Once created, press
"done".
Each drug is a different memo in the "drugs category", therefore, you must create a "new" memo for each new drug added . Please note the way that each memo is written: [doser]drug name; once again, no capital letters and no spaces between [doser] and drug name. On this example: There are 6 independent memos in the same category, and each one has it's own information. (Refer to illustration).
For each memo drug name entered, please follow these procedures: In order to edit a certain drug, choose the created "memo" of that drug, and then insert that information in the order presented on this template. Notice that each of the entered information is on a separate line. The order of these lines are to be remembered, since they will not appear when entering your values. For examples, please see the following templates.
For instance, if you want to enter "dopamine, 240mg diluted in 500ml of a solution", they should appear as presented on this illustration. Notice that [doser]dopamine, must be written in the same way as appearing on this template. Each line represents a different value, i.e. 240=240mg and 500=500ml. The "mg and ml" should not appear following these numbers.
In this example, the 250 represents the "mg", the 500 represents the "ml" and the 20 represents the "mcg/kg/min"
Please take note that each value is assigned to it's own line. Therefore, should you choose to enter a value (ex.: mg/kg/hr) you must leave vacant lines no. 4, 5 and 6 and 8 because these lines are assigned for the other values that were explained above. In this template, the values entered for "fentanyl" are: mg, ml and mg/kg/hr. Once again, notice the vacant lines between. |
