November 2002: Skyscape,
has announced it will offer Skyscape medical references on Nokia
wireless mobile phones, including the Nokia 9290 mobile phone/PDA
and the 3650 mobile phone/camera devices. Skyscape also announced
its support for the Symbian operating system for mobile wireless
phones.
Skyscape software will be available for the Nokia 9290 devices
and the Nokia 3650 devices. By supporting the Symbian operating
system, Skyscape is extending its market leadership to include
the new generation of handheld/phone devices for mobile professionals.
Symbian is an advanced, open, standard operating system (OS) for
mobile wireless phones used by millions of professionals worldwide.
Skyscape has also joined the Nokia Tradepoint program. Nokia
Tradepoint is a business-to-business e-marketplace that offers
new business opportunities for both buyers and suppliers of mobile
services. Membership in this program allows Skyscape to more easily
meet the needs of the enterprises who wish to deliver reference
solutions via public and in-house networks.
